A Case for the Wizard Detective
- Villager
- Excuse me! Can I speak to Wally the wizard detective?
- Wally
- Yes, I'm Wally.
- Villager
- Hi, Wally. Sorry to bother you, but our good witch has lost her magic stick and a wicked witch took it from her. Can you help us?
- Wally
- Of course. Where did this happen?
- Villager
- In the old house in the woods where the wicked witch lives.
- Wally
- Okay, thank you for letting me know. I'll go there now.

- (Wally flies away on his broomstick)
- Witch's Cat
- Meow!
- Wally
- (whispering) Oh no, the cat saw me. Better run before she chases me!

- Villagers
- We're scared of the wicked witch, but we want to teach her a lesson. We'll help you.

- (Wally and the villagers gather the necessary ingredients)
- Wally
- Thank you. Now I can make a special spell.

- (Night falls and Wally returns to the old house)
- Wicked Witch
- Who's there? Show yourself!
- Wally
- (peeking through the window) It's just me, the wizard detective. Don't mind me, carry on with your potion making.
- Wicked Witch
- (angrily) I don't take kindly to strangers watching me ... Come here!

- (She starts chasing Wally)
- Wally
- (running away) Ahh! Help!
- Wicked Witch
- (shouting angrily) You dare stealing from me?! I'll put an end to you!

- (Wally reaches the hiding spot behind a chair)
- Wally
- (thinking to himself) Phew. That was a close one. Time to put my spell in her bubbling potion.
- Regieanweisung
- (Wally puts the spell in the potion and quickly hides)
- Wicked Witch
- What's happening to me?! I feel weird ...
- Regieanweisung
- (She transforms into a frog)
- Wally
- (triumphantly) Got it! Time to go back home.
- Regieanweisung
- (Wally returns the magic stick to the good witch)
- Good Witch
- (relieved) Thank you, Wally. You're a hero!
- Wally
- It was not easy, but I do love a challenge.

- Wally
- Hello there, Miss Wicked Witch. What brings you to my part of town?
- Wanda
- Oh Wally, I need your help.
- Wally
- Sorry, no can do. I'm rather busy with other cases and I don't really have the time for all that witchcraft business.

- This is important! My wand has been stolen by that good-for-nothing Greta!
- Wally
- Well, why don't you just use your special skills and make another one?
- Wanda
- It's not about making another one. This stick was different, it had powers like no other.
And now she has it. You must help me get it back! - Wally
- Why should I bother myself with witches' fights?
- Wanda
- (promising) Because I am willing to pay a lot of money if you find it for me.
- Wally
- Hmmm ... well, in that case, I suppose I could accompany you on this little adventure.

- (They fly off on his broomstick)
- Wanda
- Alright, here's her house. Let's take a peek inside and see what she's up to.

- (furious) How dare you steal from me?! (pushes Greta aside) Hand it over.

- (Greta fights back with a spell, knocking both Wally and Wanda to the ground)
- Wally
- (surprised) Wow, she's tricky. We underestimated her.
- Wanda
- Gather some herbs, Wally. We're going to make a special potion and chase her out of here.
- Wally
- I think we need to find another way. She's more powerful than I thought.
- Wanda
- (angrily) Fine, fine, I'll handle this on my own if you can't keep up.

- (Wanda starts chanting spells)
- Greta
- (now impressed) Well, well, looks like someone has been practicing her magic after all.

- (Greta is revealing a magical barrier)
- Wally
- (confused) What's happening?
- Greta
- You see, this wand isn't just any wand. It has the power to protect its owner. You won't be able to touch me.
- Wanda
- (frustrated) Curse you, Greta!
- Greta
- Now, Wanda, remember this magical lesson. Some things aren't worth chasing, no matter the treasure they promise. And as for you, Wally, maybe next time you'll think twice before meddling in witch affairs for the sake of gold or any worldly gain.

- (Wally, realizing the situation, humbly admits his mistake)
- Wally
- My apologies, Greta. I should have known better than to get involved in magical disputes. We'll leave you to your lessons.
